Our MP has had a response from the Health Department (further to the Home Office response)…
Unfortunately this response was also written before the announcement that cannabinoids will soon be eligible to be prescribed for patients with “exceptional clinical need”… and we are still none the wiser as to what exactly “exceptional clinical need” actually means. And we still do not know which cannabinoid medications will be classified as eligible.
MANY more questions need to be answered before the government can consider this issue to be settled – please sign, like and share our petition if you haven’t already and help us to get answers to these questions.
We have asked our MP Alan Campbell to request clarification on these issues and also to ask why none of the millions of pounds promised to Cancer Research UK for research into brain tumours will be spent on cannabinoid research…
