First Full Week of UK Radiotherapy

After a slightly delayed start to treatment the previous week, William has made it through his first full week of radiotherapy. Although it has been challenging coping with issues like sickness from the treatment we are feeling more confident that these are now being managed effectively.

Little guy is still cracking smiles like this one from one of our first outings as a family now that Hilary and I are both signed off to look after his trachy.

We are now working towards all moving into the house ran by Clic Sargent, the charity set up to help children and young people with cancer, once William is well enough to spend nights away from the hospital.

We can’t thank enough the charity and those who raised funds to buy the house – it is a massive help to have somewhere so close to the hospital where we can spend time away from the ward but be close enough to feel safe.
